Dr. Phani Bodavula is a board-certified pediatrician with over 15 years of pediatric experience. Specializing in pediatric and adolescent medicine, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in treating his patients. Dr.Bodavula completed his medical school in 2006. Dr.Bodavula attended residency training at Children's Hospital of New Jersey/Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
Since then, he has had the opportunity to work in different settings, including both inpatient and outpatient pediatrics. Dr.Bodavula has worked as an inpatient hospitalist at Medical Center Hospital in West Texas, where he welcomed the opportunity to teach both medical students and residents from Texas Tech University. Most recently, he has had the privilege of working at Parkland Community health clinics. Ultimately, Dr.Bodavula joined a pediatric clinic in Garland, established in 2002 proudly serving communities of Garland, Mesquite, Sunnyvale, and surrounding neighborhoods.
In his spare time, Dr.Bodavula enjoys spending time with his wife and four-year-old son here in Plano, TX. He is also an avid table tennis player and enjoys traveling. His clinical interests include Newborn Care, asthma management and pediatric infectious diseases. Dr.Bodavula is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Texas pediatric Society, Texas Medical Association and Dallas County Medical Society.
Dr. Venkataramana Garikiparthy is a senior and experienced pediatrician with 35 years of experience providing excellent care in all pediatric settings. Dr. Garikiparthy had extensive training from the best places in 3 continents – Asia, Europe, and North America.
Dr. Garikiparthy did his MBBS & his post-graduate pediatric training in Tirupathi, India and received a Gold Medal from Sri Venkateswara Medical College for his MD & DCH. After practicing a few years, he went to the United Kingdom and received his MRCPCH in Pediatrics and MRCP while practicing at Buckland Hospital, Dover, and William Harvey Hospital in Ashford, Kent. In 2003, Dr. Garikiparthy moved to the U.S.A. and completed his pediatric residency & training in Brooklyn, NY. At this time, he became board-certified and was the Chief Resident in the Department of Pediatrics in The Brooklyn Hospital Center. Dr. Garikiparthy has also practiced in Laurel, Mississippi. During this, he was appointed as a Clinical Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at William Carey Osteopathic School of Medicine at Hattiesburg, MS. Further he moved to Pasadena, TX, working at Bayshore Pediatrics. After 2 years, he moved to Dallas, TX, where he worked at the Health Care Clinic. Then, he traveled to Odessa, TX, where he became an Assistant Professor at Texas Tech University of Health Sciences and tended to patients & newborns at Medical City Hospital. He now is a teaching faculty member of Texas A&M School of Medicine, mentor for the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a preceptor for the Texas Pediatric Society.
Dr. Garikiparthy brings immense experience and passion for true pediatric diagnosis. He believes in the role of family and interacting with the parents to provide a holistic cure. His knowledge and compassion from his hard work is unflinching, and he has the utmost respect for all cultures.
