Having a baby is one of the most rewarding experiences in your life. At Garland Pediatric Practice we are committed to keeping your baby healthy.
Our professional team provides the standard care our child needs and therefore the advice and counsel you would like . Our pediatricians are all board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
We encourage new parents to make an appointment and meet us. This visit allows expectant parents to find out where we are and an opportunity to meet us discuss your concerns.
This allows expectant parents to become acquainted with their pediatrician. The visit includes a tour of our office; general education surrounding the birth of your baby; an evidence of our office policies; and an issue & answer session.
Please call the appointment line at 972-216-8500
Our pediatricians dedicate their efforts to the health, safety and well-being of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. One very important step in ensuring the health of any child is to make sure he or she receives immunizations at the correct time. Vaccines prevent serious diseases and have helped to lower the rates of these diseases in the U.S. By getting vaccinated, individual children receive protection from these diseases.
Vaccines also help to guard communities by slowing or stopping disease outbreaks. This is especially important for youngsters who can't be vaccinated because they're too young, too sick, or don't answer vaccines. There is much conflicting information in the news and on the Web about children's immunizations. When you have a question about immunizations or vaccines, check with your child’s doctor. Our Board Certified pediatricians will provide you with the tools you need to make the best decision for your child's health.
During each visit, we will provide you with a Vaccine Information Statement which discusses the vaccine, its benefits, and any possible side effects. Many of your questions about vaccines can be answered ahead of time by consulting the CDC Guide to Childhood Immunizations
